5 Bookish-themed Weddings (The Fairytale Edition)

Published January 25, 2013

Oh you guys… *clutches hands*

I have SUUUUCH a treat for you today.

Meet Sarah Kathleen. My friend and photographer (like, if you see me looking half-way decent in a photo, she probably took it — including the ones for this blog). Winner of this year’s Central Coast Bride Magazine’s Bridal Idol, honorably mentioned in Junebug Wedding’s ”World’s Best Wedding Photos,” and featured in the “Best of Wedding Wire Vendors” two years in a row as well as a plethora (love that word) of blogs, including Style Me Pretty and Ruffled.

This is her:

Last year, amid all of her amazingness that makes her amazing…she took on a little project called The {Ever After} Series. In which she takes fairytales and, along with the uber adorable style and design team {Ever After Artistry}, creates engagement / wedding photo shoots of them.

So far she’s got 5 fairytales down and many, many more to come.

And because I’m in love with them, I thought you might like to fall in love with them too. If you clickety-click the blue links they’ll take you to ALL the gorgeousness. Because. They. Are. Unbelievable.

I’m pretty sure this shoot is my favorite –>

{Ever After} Series: Pocahontas

The colors! The colors, preciouses!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So autumnish and yummy and, and, and there’s horses!

But this one is also my favorite (I can have 2 favorites, yes?) partly because it’s freaking lovely and partly because the models are my sister and her hubs.

{Ever After} Series: Beauty and the Beast

Those eyes…they slay me. ;0)

But then again this one might be my favoritist…

{Ever After} Series: Snow White

Same with this one. Because the party scenes are WAY TOO FANTASTIC.

{Ever After} Series: Alice In Wonderland

As is the castle in this Sleeping Beauty shoot. LOOK AT THE CASTLE!!!!

Pure poetry, yes?

So there you go, preciouses.

Prettiness to take into your weekend.

Thank you, my darling Sarah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! This blog post just put the goofiest of smiles on my face :) You’ll definitely have to do a Part 2 to this blog post next year when we’ve done a few more. Among which should be Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, and of course Rapunzel :) :) :) Thanks for being such a die hard fan. I just adore you for it.
