Butterbeer, Anyone?

Published June 21, 2010

Harry Potter, I love thee.

And I want to visit your world and drink gobs of butterbeer (butterscotch shortbread flavored, mmm….) and listen to Moaning Myrtle while I visit the loo, and ride on the Forbidden Journey, and peek through Honey Dukes’ windows. Maybe next year’s vacation? C’mon—who’s with me???

What Others Have To Say

I am totally there. I think my whole family would be into it (meaning my sisters and father – not so much my husband, but he’d be in if yours is…) too. The downside is that it won’t actually feel like Harry Potter because of all the other tourists. They should make it so you have to dress up and act the part to enter the park – that would be really fun – I’d be Luna :)

I like that you already have your character in mind, Lori :-) . And wouldn’t that be SO fun??? We’re totally about vacationing with other people (the ones we like obviously), so talk about the ultimate family vacation!!! I think Christmastime there would seriously rock with all of us.

Oh my goodness!! Yes, please, us too! Christmas sounds perfect. And, um, can I be Hermoine? I’ve got the frizzy hair and Miss-know-it-all thing down! =) This looks like SO much fun! Sadly, when we left Paso, our DVR erased all the Potter movies I had recorded. Guess I’ll just have to read the books again!

Yes, Dani, you can be Hermoine (you’re right–you’re perfect for it). And that sucks about your DVR. Dratted technology!

Now who wants to be Dudley? Any takers??? We’ll call you “Big D” for short. ;-)

And by “perfect for it,” I wasn’t agreeing that you have a Miss-know-it-all attitude. :-D

Can I come too? Jack loves playing harry. He calls me MY-mione (as opposed to HER-mione) :)

I think that might just be the cutest thing ever, Sara :-) .
