Dear Santa, I Can Haz This For Christmas, Please?

Published December 7, 2011

Dear Santa, I’m sure we can both agree that this is the coolest thing ever and that Tolkien would want me to have one.

Sincerely, a Hobbit Girl at Heart.

(via Middle Earth News)

P.S. Can mine come with a real hobbit inside? Or a wizard. Or a wood elf even. I’m sure you’ve got a few to spare… ;0)

OMG I have always wanted a semi underground house. And I adore stone exteriors and old style doors.

Another one for you to check out: http://tinyhouseblog.com/earthcob/simonshouse/

Dani, Peter and I are convinced we need a little hobbit hole built into the side of our hill. I’m thinking–how hard could it be, right? Dig a hole and attach a door! Luckily for our safety, his engineering brain assures me it actually needs structural support to keep from caving in. Fine. Someday then. Although, in the meantime, I’d settle for a round door attached to my bedroom…

Juju, Simon’s Ecohouse is absolutely adorable in every way. And I love his little schematic of the layout! #wantone

I love that house! It’s so cute, and since I’m pretty short I’d fit perfectly. The stone is beautiful. I do love LOTR. They recently had a marathon on TMC I believe or Encore I can’t remember which. Needless to say I was glued to the TV.

Jade, I LOVE LOTR marathons too! In fact, we’ve been talking about doing one with our kids over this holiday break… Can’t wait!

Tracy, *fingers crossed* for each of us getting one of these. ;0)

Someday–in heaven, I’ll have my hobbit house. Unless Peter wants to build one for me first. Maybe on the other side of the creek near the hill. Just thinkin’….
